ESB International of Ireland is a leading international power company. It is now in the process of engaging suitably qualified staff to fill position for the Combined Cycle Gas Turbine Power Plant, which consists of 220 MW of GE Frame 6 gas turbines in combined cycle.
At this stage, applications are required from suitably qualified Malaysian citizens for the following position:
MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN
Duties:
- To perform mechanical maintenance tasks on facility equipment according to existing standards and procedures or as directed by Mechanical Supervisor.
- To carry out effective preventative maintenance on centre line and balance of plant equipment.
- Respond to breakdowns and emergency maintenance tasks some of which may require action outside normal working hours.
- Operate to independently trace, isolate and correct faults on power plant equipment.
- Function effectively as part of the mechanical maintenance group collaborating with others where necessary to complete maintenance tasks.
- Must have a strong focus on safety and follow plant safety rules at all times.
