Responsibilities:
- To handle and undertake purchasing functions in the company
- Able to forecast purchase needs and lead the purchasing activities include negotiate term and conditions with suppliers in cost effective way while maintaining appropriate quality, safety standards and specifications
- Attend divisions’ approved purchase requisition and issues Purchase order in accordance to Company Purchase Policy.
- Track purchasing activity and maintain purchasing file
- Implement and review purchase requests and ensure authorization to facilitate the timely purchase of items
- Liaise with Account division to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices
- Deal, build and develop business relationships with suppliers
- Fulfill with Custom licensing requirements on overseas purchase materials and related monthly reports and others
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree or Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce or equivalent.
- Required skill(s): computer literate, knowledge in SAP System is an added advantage.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
- 1 – 2 year(s) of working experience in related field. However, fresh graduate are encourage to apply.
- Able to work independently and be able to manage and lead subordinates in the division.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to converse in Japanese is an added advantage.
