Hamadatec Sdn Bhd is one of the prominent and growing Japanese electronics manufacturer. The parent company, HAMADA HEAVY INDUSTRIES CO., LTD was founded in 1898, specializing in the steelworks, electronics and engineering businesses. In 1987, we started reclaiming 8 inch silicon wafer, a mother material for IC chips, for the first time in the world. HAMADA have won confidence from the Device Makers in the world through our stabilized supply of high quality wafer reclaimed in the past.
Now HAMADA has its first overseas factory established in KULIM HI-TECH INDUSTRIAL PARK, Kedah. It is the most advanced and high technology factory equipped with automated fabricating lines, as a result of our accumulated years of technical know-how.

In line of COmpany expansion the Company is seeking dynamic and independent individuals to fill the below position :

Senior Purchasing Officer

Responsibilities:

To handle and undertake purchasing functions in the company
Able to forecast purchase needs and lead the purchasing activities include negotiate term and conditions with suppliers in cost effective way while maintaining appropriate quality, safety standards and specifications
Attend divisions’ approved purchase requisition and issues Purchase order in accordance to Company Purchase Policy.
Track purchasing activity and maintain purchasing file
Implement and review purchase requests and ensure authorization to facilitate the timely purchase of items
Liaise with Account division to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices
Deal, build and develop business relationships with suppliers
Fulfill with Custom licensing requirements on overseas purchase materials and related monthly reports and others

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce or equivalent.
Required skill(s): computer literate, Well known with SAP System.
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
At least 2 – 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Applicants must be willing to work in Kulim Hi-Tech Park.
Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
Full-Time positions available.
Able to work independent and manage and lead subordinates in the division.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to converse in Japanese is an added advantage.
