Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates the Product Data Management (PDM) IT application development team in order to meet objectives on content, quality, costs, and schedules.
  • Participates in development of design specifications based on PDM business requirements.
  • Interacts with PDM business community to understand business process and define how software tools can be leveraged to optimize the business process.
  • Ensures team members are provided with timely and accurate project information and status updates.
  • Resolves project related issues with customer. Reviews field trial plans, risk assessments, and test results.

Process Engineer (LSR Moulding) – Kulim Hi-Tech Park

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Engineering Technicians and Operators to achieve the business objectives of plant management.
  • Achieve overall In-Process Injection Molding Quality Target as set by Management.
  • Research and study LSR process flow to control the consistency.
  • Optimize molding cycle time, Parameter setting and Operation Standard.
  • Troubleshooting molding problems and establish permanent solutions to improve on processes and production yield.
  • Participate in cross functional activities for new projects as well as to coordinate on project transfer.
  • Selecting, managing and working with sub-contractors on process equipment and utilities in the Molding Department.
  • Responsible for the development and training of Engineering Technicians.
  • Plan and implement preventive maintenance programs for moulds and machines.
  • Plan and maintain the process documents as per ISO requirements.

 

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering or Chemical Process Technology or Plastic Technology.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Working experience with Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) Injection Moulding process is a MUST.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently with strong leadership quality.
  • Must be willing to work in Kulim.
