Job Qualifications:

  • Have at least three years’ experience in EHS, or 3-5 years with MS degree.
  • Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation preferred.
  • Deep regulatory knowledge including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Chemical regulatory standards applicable to EHS compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • To support ​RMA ​M​anagement​, ​ECO Management, NPI Management, Quotation preparatio​n​ and Commercial Claims.

  • Responsible for operate, monitor and maintenance (corrective, preventive, predictive) of plant utilities & facilities equipment, wet process and dryer, dryblending and packaging, CIP, warehouse in comply with the Site Safety and GMP procedures in 12-hrs rotating shift.
  • Responsible for support the equipment qualification such as walkdown, punchlist commissioning, IQ/OQ/PQ during plant startup phase.
  • Responsible for execution of work order and record job performed via MAXIMO system.
  • Manage and lead contractor, vendors and service providers to perform maintenance work
  • Take part in continuous improvement efforts/projects.
  • Carry out other work or task as directed by Engineer or Manager

 

Requirements:

  • Diploma /ITC/NITEC in Mechanical/Electrical & Instrumentation/Chemical/Automation or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of Hands-on technical experience in Pharma/Food/Petrochemical/Chemical plant
  • MOM certified Boiler/Steam Attendant Certification
  • Good knowledge of BMS (Building Management System)
  • Good team player and able to multi-tasks
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willing to work in shift (if required)

  • Overall responsibility for Utility & Facility Section, Engineering Department at Abbott Manufacturing Malaysia Operations.

  • Strong understanding and experience of GMP & EHS requirements and external/internal audits

  • Minimum of 8 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in a regulated product operation.
  • Experience in the establishment and development of Greenfield sites
  • Strong analytical skills with positive attitude and a good team player
